This initial conversation is all about getting to know you and the vision you have for your home. It all starts with a few questions about the type of project, the scale of work, timeline, and budget expectations. Based on our conversation, if we decide we are a match, we’ll move forward and schedule an on-site design consultation. If enough details can be collected about your project during this call, we may be able to send an initial ballpark estimate.
On-Site Design Consultation
This is where we will dive deep into the scope of your project. During this 1 hour consultation, we’ll do a walk-through of the work site, take notes, photos, and measurements, and review any challenges with the existing space. We want to make sure we have all the details we need to present a comprehensive proposal of work. Every home is different and every homeowner has different taste and style preferences, so we take this step very seriously. After answering any questions you may have, we’ll let you know when you can expect a formal proposal to be ready for your review.
This is where it starts feeling like this is really happening! After careful review of your project, we will present to you our proposed timeline, start date, and estimated cost of your project. Once you have had a chance to look over the proposal yourself, we’ll ask that you set up a proposal review call with us. We will go over the proposal together, answer all your questions, talk through any necessary adjustments, and hammer out all the details.
It’s a match made in heaven! Once you accept our proposal, we will provide you with a formal contract that will include price, allowance amounts, timelines, and other important details. Our team will come out and take final measurements, take “before” photos of the work area, collect the initial deposit, and schedule the project start date. This is also the time to begin picking out specific colors and choosing fixtures, materials, etc. We will provide you with a list of recommended suppliers who we trust to take great care of our clients.
It’s show time!! Once all the materials are finalized, our team of craftsmen will begin construction on your project. Throughout this entire process, communication will be key. We will be in constant contact with you, providing project updates and answering any questions that may pop up. You will never be left on the sidelines.
Your vision is now a reality. After our cleanup crew removes all excess materials and debris, we will do a final walkthrough with you to review all the hard work that was done. Once you are 100% satisfied, we will collect final payment, take “after” photos, and discuss any relevant warranties. Once everything is said and done, we will kindly ask about your experience with Norsemen and if you wouldn’t mind leaving us an online review and referring us to friends and family.
