The basic shelving of our kitchen cabinets, as well as the granite countertop, were in excellent condition but the doors and drawer fronts badly... needed replacement. Norsemen was the one company in Louisville that worked with us to explore the options, to provide us with a range of choices and to guide us in making the final decisions. Their team of craftspeople was very professional. They were meticulous in prepping for the work, sealing off the kitchen, taping all around, covering the floor and all appliances. They then sanded and spray painted the front the shelving and vented everything outside. They completed the installation with minimal inconvenience to us. Lastly, but very important, they quickly responded when some minor adjustments were needed. We wholeheartedly recommend Norsemen for your remodeling needs in Louisville, KY!!read more

Norsemen did a phenomenal job remodeling our two bathrooms. We had never done a major remodel before, and we decided to have them tackle both our... bathrooms in the same summer. What makes any company stand out nowadays are not only their skills in their respective fields, but also a perfection of soft skills like communication, listening, politeness, and dependability. Norsemen is one of those rare companies with not only exceptional craftsmanship in every part of the job, but they have also gathered teams of contractors and workers who all seem to excel at customer service.We always knew what was going to be happening each day thanks to a shared calendar and daily communication with the project manager. Every single worker who came into our home treated all our spaces well. Messes were always cleaned up and contained at the end of the day. We had ideas of what we wanted our bathrooms to look like, but Norsemen pointed us to the right stores and sites to look for the finishes we wanted, and they have ladies who will do all the ordering for you, which really cuts down on the stress of a remodel. We were also able to purchase things on our own as well as do certain parts of the project on our own to cut down on costs, and they were extremely flexible with giving us those options. With each decision that needed to be made, we were always consulted and given advice when needed.It is obvious that they take pride in their work, and they take the time they need to do each part of the project correctly and to the highest standard. The tiler consulted with us on where to start the pattern, the electrician measured and marked lights so we could see exactly where they would be, towel racks were framed, shelves were beautifully custom made for the space, paint and trim were perfectly applied, and pipes were replaced in our old house. With the care they took in each part of the job, we know that the workmanship will last as long as our house does.The best part of using Norsemen has been their commitment to returning when needed. With some companies, you might never hear from them again or even know how to find them should something go wrong. Norsemen has continued to communicate well and hustled right back out to our house for a couple minor tweaks when we needed them.It is hard to find a company that checks all the boxes - quality, professionalism, dependability and genuinely nice guys and gals. We would not hesitate to use them again and again and again for any of our home renovation projects. The price you pay is well worth the peace of mind knowing you will be getting everything you wanted in your project. They will give you an amazing end product that will bring you joy, and not headaches, for years to come. We couldn't be happier!read more

My husband and I had been wanting to take on a home remodeling project for awhile now but it is such a daunting task. Ben and the team were so... helpful. We decided it was time to do a long overdue kitchen remodel. The kitchen had dark cabinets with faux marble Formica that looked the part of a... 17-year-old kitchen. Since we were locked into keeping the original footprint of the kitchen, the only options that we had were to either replace or reface our cabinets. They were very professional and did a wonderful job. Everyone who has seen our cabinets thinks that they are new. My wife and I are extremely happy with the outcome and will be calling on them again in a few months to get pricing on redoing a couple bathrooms that still need to be updated.read more

I HIGHLY recommend Norsemen for any kitchen or bathroom remodeling project you may have. They were so friendly, straightforward and helpful during... our kitchen remodel.To give details, I own a house in Old Louisville that was built in the 1890s and is split into apartments. I didn't bother to include "before pictures" of the 2nd floor walkup kitchen they remodeled in this post, because it looked horrible before they came in.Norseman were willing to tackle this challenging project in an older house. Additionally, their quote for the project was very reasonable and much less than other quotes from other companies.They removed old cabinets, re-wired the electric, updated the plumbing, installed cabinets, new countertops, tile backsplash and installed the oven hood and dishwasher.They worked with us throughout the design steps and gave us a lot of choices for fixtures and hardware.100/100 I cannot be happier with the work that they did.read more

I have a very small kitchen and was looking for cabinet refacing and new countertops. I had quotes from 3 other individuals/companies around town and... they were either too sales-like for me or weren't responsive at all.I have to admit I was hesitant about going forward with them since I'd not read any review about them, but I had a good feeling after I met Benjamin. I got the impression that he actually really cared about his work and the job he does and it was more than just a paycheck for him. I really liked how he was even able to give me a ballpark estimate with just some pictures I sent him before he came over to give a true estimate. He was great about communicating when he would be at the house and did a fantastic job cleaning up each day and we were able to still use our kitchen in the evenings.I'm just floored at how beautiful this kitchen looks. I even have to force myself to go to sleep and stop staring at my kitchen each night. It was 100% worth the money and I would recommend them to anyone who wants quality work for a great price.read more

Ben and Chris were professional, knowledgeable, and dependable. We were pleased with the plumbing, electrical, and tile subcontractors that were used... for our bathroom remodeling project. We’ve encountered our fair share of contractors and for this job in general, received many over-the-top quotes and/or no shows. But they were reasonably priced and consistent in their communication. They provided us with a project calendar (we’ve never had that happen w/ a contractor) and maintained communication with us about who would be where, when, and why. Very happy :)read more

We could not be happier with our kitchen cabinet refacing. Benjamin and the entire team are fantastic to work with. We found that the cost of a... reface with Norsemen was half of the quote from Lowes and took 3 weeks vs. the 3 months we were quoted from others. We were impressed by the craftsmanship of the work and the cleanliness of the work space each day. Better yet, we were able to still use our kitchen during most of the project. I cannot recommend Norsemen enough to anyone looking to update their kitchen cabinets. We would definitely use them again.read more
