A Day in the Life
– Setting up the site and cleaning up afterward.
– Read the blueprints, drawings, and sketches to learn about the project.
– Demolition of bathrooms and kitchens
– Assembly and repair of cabinetry
– Installation of doors and accessories
– Receive, organize, and deliver items to job sites and the shop.
– Keep track of the inventory in both the shop and the work van.
– Assist with activities relating to certain trades, such as plumbing, electrical work, framing, trim, siding, and drywall installation, as needed.
– Engage in direct communication with clients in a variety of settings
– Alongside the Project Manager, find solutions to any challenges that may occur.

What You’ll Bring
– Understanding of carpentry techniques and methods is preferred
– Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools
– Good understanding of basic math in all units of measure
– Efficient and effective problem solving skills, and ability to approach tasks with great attention to detail
– Ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling
– Good written and verbal communication
– Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
– Previous construction experience is great, but not required. We put a priority on applicants with a can-do attitude, and people who can be reliable in both attendance and follow through on assigned tasks
– Be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
– Willing to learn the processes of our company
– References are a must
All qualified candidates are expected to possess a valid driver’s license; US work authorization; pass a background check; have reliable transportation; and speak, read, and understand English fluently.
